In 2023 Eleanor led her team to success as Advisor of the Year in the Global Sourcing Association awards for innovation and achievements in sourcing.

I’m also responsible for driving efficient and effective processes, improving cost management, creating visibility, and mitigating business risks regarding all 3rd party labor.

After a 20-year consulting and management career across fintech and risk management for global investment banks, Mike launched The Positive Ageing Company, a SaaS-based data business focused on addressing the challenges and opportunities of the global aging workforce. The start-up was acquired by MMC Inc. (Mercer) in 2016.
This experience, plus Mike’s natural curiosity and interest in market opportunities of the future, led him to explore opportunities available in the freelance and gig-based employment models of the global workforce. Mike’s hunches paid off when tested with early validation activity that became the genesis for PORTABL.co.
Now on a mission to serve 1 million global freelancers by 2026, PORTABL.co is set to become the go-to destination for this growing workforce.
Mike holds a B.Business (International Marketing) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia. Mike is a long-term Australian expat living in London with his lovely wife and three young and even lovelier daughters. To find balance in this mostly pink world, Mike a long-ago two-sport all-state athlete, has trained in Krav Maga and Brazilian jiu-jitsu for 10 years and is a US College football junkie.

I started my career in the recruitment industry, and worked managing various MSP accounts in the industrial sector. I moved across to the procurement world in nearly 20 years ago, and implemented a number of MSP solutions across multiple organisations and sectors.
On a personal basis, I take in old rescue dogs and therefore, walking them is my favourite past time!
